About this site

This is a collection of cartoon dolls drawn pixel-by-pixel by me (verylisa), and some of my favourite dolls adopted from other sites.

Adopting the dolls

You are welcome to adopt any of the dolls I have made. A link back to this site is always appreciated, but isn't required. I prefer you to copy and upload any dolls you adopt to your own web server, rather than linking directly to them at my site.

Doll NetiquetteBy the way, most doll sites have slightly stricter adoption policies. Learn more about doll adoption etiquette.

Using the bases

You are welcome to use any of my bases to make your own dolls. Again, a link back to this site is always appreciated, but isn't required.

I'd love to know about any doll you make using one of my bases. If you send me a copy, I might add it to my own adopted page.

Some of the BBW bases are traced from poses originally drawn by the wonderful pin-up artist Les Toil. Big thanks to Mr Toil for drawing such gorgeous ladies, and for graciously allowing me to copy the poses for my dolls.

Linking to this site

very dollyIf you would like to link to this site, you could use this button. A text link is also fine.

The tools

I use Photoshop to make the dolls, and Image Ready (it comes with Photoshop) to do the occasional bit of animation. The site has been designed and maintained using HTML Kit.

Making your own dolls

I don't have any dollmaking tutorials on this site. Veriria's Palace is a great starting point for beginning dollmakers, with lots of tutorials. Also, you can find lots of enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful people at The Dollhouse, an EZ Board community forum for dollers.
