Recipe for Thickened Gravy

Strain most of the dripping off the roasting tin, and add a teaspoonful of flour to the remainder. Stir over the heat until the flour is browned, add half a pint of stock, and stir until boiling. Simmer a few minutes and season to taste. Skim and strain into a sauce-boat.
