"This came to me when I was reading something over Marian's shoulder, some Dianic thing about 'Sisters doing it for the greater glory of the Goddess'. Whoa, I said. Did She tell them this, the Goddess herself? I mean, anyone who says, "Go build a temple from the thigh-bones of Her enemies, for the greater glory of Goddess' - well, they're probably doing it to impress their friends. Would a Goddess be impressed by a temple made of thigh bones? A human would, possibly. Goddesses work on different levels. Maybe Goddess would be more impressed by a temple made of marshmallows. Maybe Goddess would be more impressed if you dedicated yourself to lying on your back in the middle of the road, saying "Wibble, wibble, wibble" for the rest of your life. You just can't tell, if you insist on judging Goddess by human standards that - hey, shut up back there, I'm trying to-"
