High priestess, I am having trouble with colour. Well, a particular colour. As someone else in the froup mentioned - indigo.
I've been told that the chakras can be identified with colours, starting with Red for the Base Chakra, Orange for the Womb (SHUP nikolai, yes, i KNOW that YOU call it the 'genital chakra'), yellow for the stomach, green for the heart, blue for the throat, indigo for the third eye and violet for the little bit on top, I forget. Oh yeah, the crown chakra.
I can see blue, in my mind. Violet, I just see as purple. Indigo... it's half-way between them? I guess my mind doesn't have sufficient resolution. or the right graphics adaptor.
p.s. nikolai ran a paint program and showed me that the colour I've been thinking of as violet is actually indigo. He made the palette blue at one side of the screen, purple at the other and faded between them.
I pointed to the middle and said, "That's purple."
"No," he said, pointing to the right-hand-side of the screen, "that's purple. That," pointing to the middle, "is indigo."
"That's not purple, that's ... that's pink!'
He gestured vaguely. "If you say so. It's your energy system."
